Using this power and the ability to travel back in time, the goal is to prevent other characters from meeting an untimely end. Ghost Trick‘s mechanics revolve around Sissel’s ability to possess and manipulate non-living things. The soundtrack is exciting and emotionally charged, matching the fast-paced plot. Music is another pleasure in the game and a joy to listen to. The gentleman on the right will become your new definition of the word “smooth”. Every movement is crisp and clean, leaving the game with an impressive aesthetic. It does not take much to realize that a lot of effort went into animating the characters as they move about the screen. When there are not any talking heads displayed, the game flexes its arms and flaunts its impressively detailed environments and, of course, its fluid animation. But, players are treated to heavily stylized depictions of characters. Like Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick presents its dialog solely through text. It has more than its fair share of plot twists and jaw-dropping revelations to keep things fresh and interesting. Though it does abuse the old amnesia cliché, the plot is anything but predictable.

The story in Ghost Trick is one of its finest elements, which is no surprise as it shares a similar pedigree to the Ace Attorney series. But can he solve the mystery of his murder?
